Blake Paro

PRIVATE WEALTH MANAGER


Blake is not just your typical financial advisor; he brings a unique blend of passion, experience, and a zest for life to his role. Born with an inherent love for sports, Blake's journey began on the soccer field, where he once showcased his skills as a former player. Today, he navigates the greens with finesse as a dedicated golfer, takes on tennis matches, and engages in the timeless art of pickleball, all while jokingly claiming to feel like a 70-year-old on the court.


A proud member of the NC State Wolfpack Club for two decades, Blake's loyalty to his alma mater extends to his position in the esteemed Red Wolf Society. Beyond the world of finance, he serves as a board member for Ride Of Your Life, showcasing his commitment to philanthropy and community engagement.


Outside the boardroom, Blake's interests take a flavorful turn as he masters the art of grilling and smoking meat over charcoal and wood, creating culinary delights that reflect his dedication and attention to detail. The sizzle of meat on the grill is only rivaled by the rhythmic beats of rock and roll, an encompassing passion that traces back to his unwavering appreciation for everything the genre has to offer.


Despite his commitment to finance and philanthropy, Blake finds joy in attending endless dance recitals for his two daughters, aged 12 and 9. A family man through and through, he's also a devoted dog lover, emphatically expressing his disdain for cats with a touch of humor.


Blake's humor extends to his love for stand-up comedy, where he finds moments of levity in life's intricacies. His taste in music, however, draws a firm line at 1998 for country music, declaring his allegiance to the golden era of the genre.


On sunny days, you may spot Blake motoring around town in his original 1947 Chevy 3100 pickup truck. This classic vehicle serves as a nice representation of his hard work ethic, versatility, and endurance.


Married since 2008, Blake's love story with Sarah began in 2002 when they crossed paths at NC State. Together since 2003, the couple weaves a narrative of love, shared interests, and a commitment to building a life rich in experiences.



Sarah Ferguson

CLIENT SERVICE MANAGER


Sarah joined Paro Wealth Management in 2024 as the Client Service Manager, bringing a wealth of experience from her 16 years as a successful small business owner. She founded and managed her award-winning physical therapy practice before selling it to embark on a new professional journey. With a deep dedication to client satisfaction and valuable expertise gained from working with insurance companies, Sarah seamlessly transitioned into the financial services industry.

Having been a client of Paro Wealth Management for over 20 years, Sarah has firsthand experience with the thorough and financially effective services provided by Blake and his team. She and her husband, Scott, have relied on PWM to navigate key milestones, including buying a home, raising three children, managing college expenses, overseeing a retirement plan for Sarah’s business, and understanding the NC state retirement plan.

Sarah and Scott are proud NC State alumni and avid supporters of the Wolfpack. Their family’s ties to the university run deep, with their daughter and son-in-law also graduating from NC State. They often enjoy attending games together and visiting the Bell Tower after a big win. Their two sons pursued careers in service, graduating from the United States Air Force Academy. One is now a pilot in the Air Force, while the other serves as an Infantry Officer in the Army.

Outside of work, Sarah leads an active lifestyle. She’s a regular at her local CrossFit gym, enjoys daily walks with her labradoodle, and cherishes long hikes or paddleboarding on weekends. When she’s not outdoors, you’ll find her reading, cross-stitching, or playing the piano. Most importantly, she treasures the time spent with her two granddaughters who live nearby and loves nothing more than spoiling them.

Sarah’s dynamic background, dedication to client care, and strong personal connections to the PWM team make her an invaluable asset to the firm.
